Hi, I’m Ness and I’m The Bush Bookkeeper, a rural bookkeeper helping agricultural businesses bring structure, calm and clarity to their farm office.

I started bookkeeping after the arrival of my first child, and more than 10 years later, I still love helping agricultural businesses feel more in control of their numbers, paperwork and office processes.

I understand that farm bookkeeping is not generic, one size fits all bookkeeping. Agricultural businesses deal with seasonal cash flow, staff, suppliers, BAS, payroll, compliance, family pressure and privacy concerns, often all at once.

Having been involved with farm offices since school, both small family farms and large corporate properties, I am not only a bookkeeper who does data entry. I want to make sure you have a smooth running office to support your business, your family and those who work for you.

My goal is simple: to help agricultural businesses stop running the office from memory, late nights and crossed fingers, and instead create a clearer system that supports the business properly.

I work remotely with large and small agricultural clients across Australia.

Outside of work, you’ll find me chasing after kids, with my head in a book, out in the garden, on the back of a horse playing polocrosse or campdrafting, or helping out in my community.
